As a contemporary visual artist, my work explores a sense of place that lies somewhere between the physicality of place and the experiences that contribute and explore a greater sense belonging. This often is linked to culture and my own search to find meaning and understanding in the world around me.

Throughout various mediums my work follows a narrative theme, which draws upon recollections, memories and the interactions with communities and people from my travels.

I create layered surfaces that form foundations on which to express my narrative. Using a combination of mixed media including printmaking techniques rich surfaces are built upon, creating background pages that are embedded with meaning and storytelling.

Throughout the work I explore stillness solitude and my own sense of spirituality. Capturing moments of contemplation and awareness through symbolic gestures of my own inner journey.
